Wirework Description: Learn new chain-making skills, or refresh your old skills, while constructing these dazzling earrings using Argentium Sterling Silver and 14/20 gold-filled wire. You will start with wire and finish with a pair of earrings.
Students will Learn: How to wind wire into coils and cut jump rings using a Koil Kutter. Practice these techniques using copper wire before starting the project using precious metal.
Prerequisites: Some previous experience working with jump rings and making chains would be helpful, but is not required.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, task lamp. Optional: Optivisors.
Pliers: Bentnose, flatnose without grooves.
Materials in Kit: Copper practice materials, Argentium sterling wire, 14/20 gold-filled wire, earring wires, instructions.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
