Description: Learn the complex appearing round maille pattern using an inexpensive base metal. Optional kits in Argentium Sterling Silver and/or 14/20 gold-filled will be available for purchase from the instructor.
 
Students will Learn: How to work with jump rings to make chains; the round maille weave and its relationship to the Open Round Chain Maille, the Turkish Round Maille weave; how to polish chains.
 
Prerequisites: Some previous experience working with jump rings and making chains would be helpful, but is not required.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
At least 18 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, task lamp. Optional: Optivisors.
 
Pliers: Bentnose, flatnose without grooves.
 
Materials in Kit: Practice materials, all components for a brass bracelet, instructions.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
