Description: Learn the basic concepts of soldering while creating a spiral chain. By the end of this class, you will have an understanding of necessary tools and materials to successfully solder simple joints.
 
Students will Learn: To manipulate wire and solder simple joints to complete a chain-link bracelet.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
At least 18 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Flush-cut wire cutters, metal files, ruler, task lamp. Optional: Magnifiers, cup bur.
 
Pliers: Chainnose, flatnose without grooves, standard roundnose.
 
Materials in Kit: Fine-silver wire, sterling silver jump rings.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
