Peyote Stitch

Description: This necklace is a collection of shaped petals, which are created using peyote stitch, and strung together with embellished circular peyote components.
 
Students will Learn: Advanced beading techniques to create structured round flowerets and petal shapes using peyote stitch. Class discussion will focus on how to increase with peyote stitch to make petal shapes and circular beadwork.
 
Prerequisites: Proficient with peyote stitch.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Bead dish, beading mat, beading wax, beeswax, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp.
 
Materials in Kit: Swarovski pearls and crystals, Japanese seed beads, beading needles.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
