Peyote Stitch

Description: This beautiful bracelet is composed of multilayered, crystalized square units with a double link between each unit. You will construct the square units using peyote and netting stitches.
 
Students will Learn: How to form a flat peyote square and then use that square as a foundation for additional layers of beads.
 
Prerequisites: Proficient with peyote stitch.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Bead dish, beading mat, beading wax, beeswax, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp.
 
Materials in Kit: 11/0 and 15/0 Japanese seed beads, Japanese cylinder beads, Swarovoski pearls and bicone crystals, snap closure, beading needles.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
