Peyote Stitch

Description: Create a fabulous sparkling cuff that features a large Swarovski oval fancy stone set in Swarovski crystals and pearls. The embellished cuff has a concealed clasp.
 
Students will Learn: How to set a large SWAROVSKI fancy oval stone in Xilion beads and pearls; stitch an embellished peyote band from the setting; combine netting and peyote stitches as well as surface and edge embellishments to finish the cuff.
 
Prerequisites: Experience with peyote stitch.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: #12 beading needles, beading mat, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp. Optional: Magnifiers, reading glasses.
 
Materials in Kit: 11/0 and 15/0 Japanese seed beads, 30 x 22 mm Swarovski fancy oval stone, Swarovski pearls, Swarovski Xilion beads in assorted sizes, slide clasp, snap, instructions. The crystal portion of this kit is underwritten by SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.
