Polymer Description: Make a pattern of tiny, simple canes on a shaded background for great effect. Polymer clay caning on a small scale makes a sophisticated pin or pendant.
Students will Learn: The Skinner blend, a color blending method for polymer clay. The Skinner blend will be used to develop canes, with instruction on color, composition, and design.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Craft knife, needle tool, pasta machine, roller/brayer, tissue-slicing blade, work surface.
Materials in Kit: Polymer clay, wire or pin back, sanding kit. This kit is underwritten by Polyform Products.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
