Ndebele Herringbone

Description: The “Chroniker Bracelet” is worked in Ndebele herringbone stitch and is named because of its hourglass shape. It has a supple drape, and a unique texture worked into it with “float beads” and Swarovski bicones between the herringbone columns. It comes together quickly because of its two-beads per stitch technique.
 
Students will Learn: Ndebele herringbone stitch; how to shape herringbone with float beads between the columns; how to add the first half of an invisible closure.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, scissors, sticky notes, task lamp.
 
Materials in Kit: 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads, 3 mm Swarovski crystals, Fireline 6 lb. test, microcrystalline wax, dressmaker snap, #12 beading needle. Kit is available in multiple colors.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
