Kumihimo Description: It's not just fibers that can be used on the Kumihimo foam disk - you can use wire too! We will talk about wire options, handling tips, and finishing techniques, all while creating a gorgeous, fast, and finely detailed wire-woven bracelet.
Students will Learn: Types of kumihimo projects that work with wire, how to plan a project, wire-working tips, and finishing techniques.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Reading glasses, tape measure, task lamp.
Materials in Kit: 28-gauge craft wire in two colors, plated end caps, clasp, kumihimo loom (foam), bobbins.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
