Description: Create a bugle bead collar using a herringbone stitch and expansion techniques. Fire-polished crystals will embellish your collar and raised rose montees create sculptural focal points.
 
Students will Learn: Expansion techniques using various sizes of beads and elements to form a collar; how to raise rose montees to form dimensional focal points.
 
Prerequisites: Proficient with herringbone stitches.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: #11-#12 beading needles, bead dish, Fireline 6 lb. test, zappers.
 
Materials in Kit: Bugle beads, fire-polished crystals, assorted beads, rose montees, clasp.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
