Description: Create unique jewelry using beginner and intermediate techniques in wirework and bead-stringing. Class size allows for individualized instruction.
 
Students will Learn: Basic wirework techniques including twisted beading, shaping, and hammering; basic bead stringing; how to open and close jump rings.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: 20-gauge wire, bench block, chasing hammer, E6000 adhesive, fine-tip marker, flush-cut wire cutters, permanent marker (pointed), ruler, task lamp, work surface.
 
Pliers: Chainnose, flush end-cutting, long roundnose, nylon-jaw wire straightener.
 
Materials in Kit: Copper wire, toggle clasp, beads; twisted oval copper chain.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
