MacrameŽ Description: Explore Cavandoli knotting while making a colorful bead-embellished pendant. This macrame-related technique, which is similar to weaving, allows students to create beautiful mini-tapestries with geometric patterns.
Students will Learn: How to use horizontal and vertical double half-hitch knots with colored cords to create patterns; how to embellish their pendant with beads.
Prerequisites: Previous knowledge of basic macrame knots, especially horizontal double half-hitch and vertical double half-hitch knots, is recommended but not required.
Project will not be completed in class.
