Soldering Description: If you’re feelin’ kinda blue, this pendant will cheer you right up. If you’re not feeling blue, this pendant will just add to your sunny disposition!
Students will Learn: How to solder a customized copper bezel to copper sheet and saw out the first layer of the pendant. Then students will learn how to saw a second component out of brass and sweat solder the two layers together.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Instructor provides all tools and supplies. Tool kits to be shared by two. Individual work surfaces are provided. Optional: Safety glasses, ear plugs, and your own tools if desired.
Materials in Kit: Copper sheet and bezel; brass sheet; face cabochon (bone); consumables; color handout.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
