Soldering Description: Girly, yet tough, this bracelet speaks to your feminine side without making you look weak. Fold-formed copper complemented with stones is always a winner, and this bracelet proves the point. Additional session on Friday, June 7th, (B131792).
Students will Learn: How to forge a copper bangle using a fold-forming technique that involves some intense hammering with a pretty heavy hammer; so if you’re up to it, join in! Students will braze the two ends of the bangle together and then add stones and patina.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Instructor provides all tools and supplies. Tool kits to be shared by two. Individual work surfaces are provided. Optional: Safety glasses, ear plugs, and your own tools if desired.
