Peyote Stitch Description: Create this elegant, sparkling tassel with interchangeable slide rings. The tassel hangs from a 32-in. flat, beaded chain.
Students will Learn: How to use tubular and flat peyote stitch, along with a variety of other techniques, to create rings, a strap, and the top of a tassel.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of tubular and flat peyote is helpful.
Project will not be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: #12 beading needles, 18-in. beading pad (without nap), Fireline 6 lb. test, Nymo D, scissors, task lamp.
Pliers: Flush side-cutting.
Materials in Kit: 11/0 Japanese cylinder and round seed beads, 2 mm (14 pp) rhinestone chain, 3 mm Swaroski crystals, interfacing fabric.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
