Description: There's a familiarity to this textural spiral, as it's an amalgam of stitches you probably already know. It's also wonderfully versatile and relatively quick to stitch -- a win whichever way you look at it. Use various colors and bead sizes to stitch this stunning spiral.
 
Students will Learn: Focus is on a variation of the familiar so-called Russian Spiral, a variation of tubular netting; use of various bead sizes will dictate varying bead counts in each stitch around the tube, making this an interesting rope to stitch.
 
Prerequisites: Previous experience with netting, preferably tubular netting.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 18 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, scissors, thread conditioner. Optional: Task lamp.
 
Materials in Kit: 8/0 and 11/0 Czech seed beads, 4 mm fire-polished beads, clasp, #10 beading needle, Nymo B.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
