Description: Add a new depth of personal design to your metal clay work by learning to whittle and carve your pieces. Small class size and great instructors add up to a wonderful experience.
 
Students will Learn: To work with leather-hard clay. Students will learn different techniques for carving and using a knife to whittle edges as well as construction techniques that enhance the carved designs.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
At least 12 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Writing materials.
 
Materials in Kit: Scalpel, V-gouge, U-gouge, use of instructors’ tools, silver and base metal pre-formed pieces (pendants and earrings), firing and finishing services, consumables.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
