Polymer

Description: Take your metal clay and polymer clay designs up several notches using cold-mold rubber materials and your own buttons, shells, leaves, lace, and other textures to preserve long-lasting dimensional molds. Fun-loving and dedicated instructors added to a small class size give you a great time and useful results.

Students will Learn: Varied techniques for creating three-dimensional molds from natural and man-made forms for use with both polymer and metal clays. Choose the textures you like, but be open to others from the instructors and your classmates to expand your design repertoire.

Project will be completed in class.

At least 12 years old.

Supplies to Bring: Permanent marker (pointed), writing materials, textures of your choice: buttons, lace, beads, natural forms, etc. Instructors will be in contact before the show to discuss design possibilities. Note: Textures are generally not harmed by making molds using these techniques.

Materials in Kit: Cold-mold rubber materials, use of instructors’ textures, consumables, handouts.
