Fiber-related Description: Poke a pile of colorful wool with a special needle to create fabulous felted creations! Find out what needle felting is all about -- start with fluffy wool, and end up with jewelry components anyone can make. No special skills are necessary to learn this fun art form. Additional session offered Sunday morning, June 9 (B131677).
Students will Learn: A variety of techniques including making basic shapes and blending wool to create color combinations.
Project will not be completed in class.
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Assorted beading needles, beading mat, beading thread, cutters, scissors, task lamp. Optional: Magnifiers or reading glasses.
