Description: In this comprehensive class you will make a whimsical sampler necklace, a bangle bracelet with a custom clasp, and a pair of earrings with your own designer earring wires. By the end of the class you will have made an entire set of jewelry and be a wire pro. Additional session offered Friday morning, June 7 (B131621).
 
Students will Learn: A variety of wireworking techniques that include making loops, creating spirals, making your own clasps, and designing earring wires. We will also cover hammering and texturing techniques.
 
Project will be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: Bench block, chasing hammer, cup bur. Optional: Task lamp.
 
Pliers: Chainnose without grooves, flatnose without grooves, flush side-cutting, standard roundnose.
 
Materials in Kit: Assorted gemstone beads, wire, chain, findings. Students will have a choice of colors.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
