Polymer Description: Turn canes that look incredibly complex and detailed, but are made through a series of simple steps, into kaleidoscope canes. A fantastic way to use up bits and pieces of canes and scrap clay that might otherwise be wasted. The finished tiles can be used to make bracelets, necklaces, and many other adornments.
Students will Learn: How to combine three simple elements to create two different kaleidoscope canes and add a Swarovski crystal to complete the look.
Prerequisites: Prior beginner to advanced beginner courses helpful to take full advantage of this class curriculum.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: 10-in. x 10-in. work surface (smooth ceramic tile or tempered glass), pasta machine, acrylic roller, stiff slicing blade (Amaco or Kato Nublade), plastic container to transport project.
Materials in Kit: Polymer clay, Swarovski crystals, Apoxie Scuplt, instructions.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
