Peyote Stitch

Description: Create a cool cuff with bead embroidered components! Students will attach their individually stitched components to a piece of suede custom-fit to your wrist. Finish your piece by embellishing with chains. Additional session offered Saturday evening, June 1 (B131733).
 
Students will Learn: Peyote stitch, edging, back stitch.
 
Prerequisites: Previous experience with even count peyote in the round and learn the step up.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 16 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: #12 beading needles, Fireline 6 lb. test, beading scissors, E6000 adhesive. Optional: Task lamp, beading mat.
 
Materials in Kit: Three glass cabochons, chains, snap closure, beading foundation, Ultrasuede, seed beads.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
