Metalwork Description: Rivet chain to leather, set snaps, include beads with your chain, or make an all-leather-and-chain single or double wraparound bracelet. Additional session offered Wednesday, June 5 (B130030).
Students will Learn: How to rivet chain to leather and how to set snaps.
Prerequisites: Knowledge in use of basic jewelry tools.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Bench block, flush-cut wire cutters, plastic hammer, ruler, scissors, riveting hammer. Optional: Beads and wire to attach to chain, large-hole beads to slide onto chain, spacers, fancy chain.
Pliers: Chainnose without grooves, standard roundnose.
Materials in Kit: Several color choices of leather; rivets; snaps; various chain.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
