Peyote Stitch

Description: Make an outstanding bracelet composed of seed bead components. This bracelet can be easily modified to create a one-of-a kind choker. Additional session offered Saturday, June 8 (B130412).
 
Students will Learn: Master peyote stitch and netting techniques; how to connect components to create more elaborate pieces; correct balance between two contrasting colors.
 
Prerequisites: Students need to be proficient with peyote stitch.
 
Project will not be completed in class.
 
At least 18 years old.
 
Supplies to Bring: #12-#13 beading needles, beading mat, beading thread, cutters, Fireline 8 lb. test, magnifiers, Nymo D, scissors, task lamp, writing materials.
 
Pliers: Standard roundnose.
 
Materials in Kit: 8/0, 11/0, 15/0 seed beads; 8/0 gold and silver metallic seed beads; 3 mm Swarovski crystal pearls; 4 mm Swarovski crystal rondelles; 4 mm Swarovski bicones; 16 mm Swarovski crystal rivolis; metallic gold and silver drops; sew-on snaps.
 
Limit: One seat per person per class.
